The Villa
Everything you need to run the house.
SeaClusive is a three-bedroom, three-bath waterfront villa on a quiet cul-de-sac in South Bahamia. It sits on a canal with 60 feet of private dockage, a pool terrace, a poolside pavilion bar, and an outdoor hibachi grill — with Xanadu public beach within walking distance.
Practical notes
Supplies: the corner store — Stop and Shop, Polaris Drive — is a few minutes from the house for quick runs; the main food store, Solomon's downtown, is your first proper shop (both are under Food & Drink).
Getting around: the neighborhood is residential with no shops in walking range apart from the corner store, so plan on a car or driver for outings. Google Maps works reliably across the island.

Music & the house iPad

To play music on the Sonos, open Spotify on the house iPad and play to Family Room. The PA speaker in the bedroom can be moved outside the bedroom door onto the pool deck — it runs over Wi-Fi.
Power
While power interruptions are uncommon, SeaClusive Villa is equipped with backup power to ensure the entrance gate and other essential systems remain operational, allowing your stay to continue with minimal disruption and maximum comfort.
Air Conditioning
Keep doors and windows closed while the A/C is running — it cools faster and holds better in the Bahamian heat. Please switch it off when you leave the villa for a longer stretch.
Kitchen
The kitchen is here for you to use. Before you head out or check out, please:
- Wash up, or load the dishwasher.
- Never pour grease down the sink.
- Bag and bin food waste.
Laundry
A washer and dryer are here for you. Use only the recommended amount of detergent, and clean the lint filter after each dryer load.
Trash & Recycling
Household garbage goes in the designated bins. If you're staying through a collection:
House Rules
- Please treat the villa as if it were your own.
- No smoking inside the villa.
- Keep noise low after 10:00 PM — the neighbors are close.
- No parties or events without prior approval.
- Let us know about any accidental damage as soon as you can.
- Switch off lights, A/C and appliances whenever you head out.
⚠️ The driveway gate
The gate is remote-operated and has no auto-stop — once you press the button, it will not reverse if something is in its way. Before you open or close it, make sure the full path is clear of people, children, and cars, and watch it through its entire travel. Never press and walk away.

⚠️ The driveway gate
The remote gate has no auto-stop and won't reverse for a person, child, or car. Always confirm the path is clear before pressing, and watch it the whole way. Never press and walk away.

First stops — provisions
The first stop for groceries after arrival — the island's main supermarket, on York Street downtown. Do your proper shop here on day one.
The corner store a few minutes from the house, for quick runs and emergency supplies after the main shop.
The one dinner not to miss
The refined night out on the island — waterfront patio dining. Adults-leaning (16+) atmosphere; reservations strongly recommended, as walk-ins are sometimes turned away. Also open for breakfast, 7–10 AM.

Seafood and sushi over the water at Freeport Harbour — and the house event is the live shark feeding at 6, 7 & 8 PM nightly (we counted four at the 7:00). Ask the chef to order for you: the Tokyo M appetizer, and if you're lucky a chef's special of his own design. A must-visit, even just for the sharks.
★ Our pick for a first nightUpscale waterside dining by the marina. Reserve a day ahead — call right at noon when they open — and ask for a table on the floating dock.
Lovely beachside spot at Fortune Bay. One honest heads-up: it closes early — this is a lunch outing, not a dinner one. Check the hours before driving out (we learned this the hard way).

A local must-visit — conch salad and fritters made fresh in front of you at Smith's Point, Taino Beach. Ocean views, about $12, and reviewers call it the best on the island.

Explore Freeport
The island's best sights, beaches, and the water.
Sights & nature
Out at Crystal Beach in the old fishing village of West End — swim with the island's famous pigs (Peppa, Maya & friends), then linger on the beach. It's about a 45-minute drive west and pairs with a look around historic West End and Old Bahama Bay. Call ahead — the pigs keep their own schedule.
★ We did this — a highlightA marina resort at the far west tip — calm beach, a yacht harbour, and easygoing waterfront bars nearby (Da Straw Bar, Banana Hammock). A pretty end point for the West End drive.
Botanical garden with waterfalls, turtles, and a garden restaurant.
Caves, a mangrove boardwalk, and one of the island's most beautiful beaches (best at low tide). Out east near High Rock — pairs well with a Bishop's lunch.
The island's snorkeling spot — reef right off the beach, turtles, and gear rental. West side.
In-town nature preserve with easy trails and native plants.
Beach fun park on Taino Beach West — ziplines, kayaks, jet skis.

Getting Here & Around
Getting to the island, and a few quirks that catch first-timers.
Getting here
- Fly into FPO — Grand Bahama International Airport. From most US cities the routing is through Miami on American Eagle.
- Book at least two hours for the Miami connection — airlines sell 60-minute connections that gate distances make impossible.
- Bring a valid passport. You'll fill out a Bahamas immigration card on the plane — the address to give is 120 Fern Court, Freeport, Grand Bahama.
- Going home: US customs happens at your US arrival airport (Freeport's preclearance closed in 2019), so budget a generous connection in Miami — passport control, bag claim, customs, re-check and security all happen there.
Arriving & rides
- Arrange your pickup through Donald before you fly. Don't count on ride-share.
- Fallback: the taxi line right outside Customs — marked vans, uniformed drivers, about $40 cash to the South Bahamia area.
- Taxis are residents' own cars and drivers may not use GPS — give the landmark "South Bahamia, by Xanadu" and keep Google Maps ready for the last stretch.
- The neighborhood is residential, so plan on a car or driver for outings. Google Maps works reliably on the island.
Money & basics
- Money: the Bahamian dollar is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, and US dollars are accepted everywhere.
- Provision on day one at Solomon's downtown; the corner store covers small runs after that (see Food & Drink).
- Immigration: you'll fill out a card on the plane — the address to give is 120 Fern Court, Freeport, Grand Bahama.
Before you leave
- Wash or load any used dishes.
- Wash and dry the used sheets and towels.
- Take out the garbage.
- Return the keys as instructed.
- Close and lock all windows and doors.
- Turn off the lights, A/C, and pool light.
